Purpose

To provide an overview of priority sites for restoration and past restoration projects in the Chilliwack River Watershed.

Explanation

In 2001, EBA Engineering completed a Restoration Plan fro the Chilliwack River watershed upstream of Vedder Crossing. The plan identified priority key watersheds, where forestry impacts are felt and restoration has a high likelihood of success. Slesse is also considered a target watershed. Several high and lower priority in-stream and off-channel restoration projects were identified.
