Agricultural Land Reserve Map


Purpose

To show the location of lands within the Watershed contained with the Agricultural Land Reserve.

Explanation

The Agricultural Land Reserve (ALR) is a provincial designation of  lands with potential for agricultural production.  In the ALR, agriculture is recognized as the priority use. Farming is encouraged and non-agricultural uses are controlled.  For more info, visit: www.alc.gov.bc.ca
